The Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Hanna Malyar, during a briefing of representatives of the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine at the Military Media Center on the anniversary of the Russian Federation's large-scale invasion against Ukraine, named ten major victories:

• successful defense of Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv in February-April 2022;

• massive resistance of the civilian population to the Russian occupiers in the territories temporarily occupied by the invaders;

• expulsion of the Russian occupiers from the Kyiv region, Chernihiv region and Sumy region in March-April 2022.

• destruction of the missile cruiser "Moskva (Moscow)" — the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in April 2022;

• expulsion of the Russian occupiers from Zmiiny (Snake) Island - June 2022;

• destruction of the logistics system of the Russian occupying forces in the south and east of Ukraine in June and August 2022;

• expulsion of the Russian occupiers from Kharkiv region in September-October 2022;

• expulsion of the Russian occupiers from the Kherson region in September-October 2022;

• successful actions of the Ukrainian air defense system in October 2022 to February 2023;

• containment of the Russian offensive east of Ukraine from December 2022 to February 2023.

"Deterrence continues to this day. The country remembers the great price that the Ukrainian people pay for freedom. We thank all those standing in line and continuing to defend our Motherland. We thank all the brave Ukrainians who are holding their front," - said Hanna Malyar.
