On April 10, Ukraine managed to conduct another large exchange of prisoners with Russia. It was a difficult exchange.
Among them are defenders of Mariupol, Azovstal, and Gostomel. Some people were seriously injured.
- 24 National Guardsmen,
- 22 border guards,
- 22 representatives of the Naval Forces,
- 21 service members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,
- 11 Territorial defense soldiers.
The liberated defenders took part in battles in the Kherson, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia and Sumy. Among the returning heroes are also defenders of Mariupol, Bakhmut and Gostomel, and defenders of Chongar, Zmiiny (Snake) Island, ZNPP and ChNPP. The youngest of the liberated soldiers is 19 years old.
