Volodymyr Zelensky: Ukraine and our people, our capabilities are more powerful than any Russian missiles
Today, one of the most brutal shellings of Mykolaiv and the region over the entire period of the full-scale war took place. Dozens of missiles and rockets… The occupiers hit residential buildings, schools, other social infrastructure, and industrial facilities.
The Russian attack took the lives of Oleksiy Vadaturskyi and his wife Raisa, the founder of one of the largest Ukrainian agricultural companies “Nibulon”, the Hero of Ukraine. My sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the Vadaturskyi couple.
It is exactly such people, such companies, our Ukrainian south that have guaranteed the world’s food security. It has always been so. And it will be so again. The Russian terrorists should not even hope that they will be able to destroy the social and industrial potential of Ukraine and walk through the ruins.
Ukraine and our people, our capabilities are definitely more powerful than any Russian missiles and shells.
Now the Russian army is trying to strengthen its positions in the occupied areas of the south of our country, increasing activity in the relevant areas. Part of the Russian forces from their positions in the east are moved to the south – to the Kherson region and the Zaporizhzhia region… But this will not help them there.
None of the Russian strikes goes unanswered by our military and intelligence officers. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are ready to respond to any new activity of the occupiers.
And today I want to thank every resident of Mykolaiv for their indomitability, for protecting the city and the region. I also thank Nikopol, Kharkiv, Kryvyi Rih and the entire Dnipropetrovsk region, the strong people of Zaporizhzhia and the region, all Ukrainians of the Kherson region, everyone who defends the outskirts of Odesa and the region… Thank you for your courage!
Strategically, Russia has no chance of winning this war. And it is necessary to hold on, so that even at the tactical levels, the terrorist state feels its defeat. We have to hold on in the south, in the east and everywhere. We have to hold on in defense, diplomacy and politics. To preserve our unity – and not only until the victory, but also after it, in order to qualitatively restore everything destroyed by the occupiers. I believe that we will do all this.
I signed several important laws today, in particular the law on providing additional guarantees of protection to media representatives working in the areas of hostilities. This will strengthen the protection of our journalists.
The law on ensuring the rights and freedoms of IDPs is eliminating bureaucratic barriers that limited assistance to people.
The law on the protection of the civilian population in the event of emergency situations and hostilities.
Also, the law that creates conditions for comprehensive thermal modernization of buildings and simplifies the process of restoring the residential sector damaged by the strikes of the occupiers.
Important ratification laws, some other acts as well.
We are preparing for a new week – as always, full of international activity. Already tomorrow there will be important negotiations with European partners. In a few days I will continue delivering speeches to the international community, communicating with different audiences – it is very important, in particular with the student audience.
No matter what happens and no matter what the occupiers’ plans are, we must do our job – protect our state and take care of each other.
The more effective we are in this – all of us, all citizens of Ukraine – the faster we will achieve victory.

Bellingcat Investigator: Russia prepared graves for executed Ukrainian soldiers in Yelenovka in advance
The Ukrainian military could have been killed before the explosion.
Independent OSINT researchers analyzed satellite images published on the network of the territory of the Yelenovskaya colony, where more than 50 prisoners of war were executed, and came to new conclusions.
So, OSINT researcher Alexander Oliver, referring to a video analyzed by the founder of Bellingcat, noticed fresh graves in the pictures, which were dug, probably before the explosion, near the northern wall of the colony.
Old footage shows that the POWs were housed in the main cell block away from the collapsed building, which appears to be outside the inner perimeter.
The graves were dug a week before the explosion, according to the founder of Bellingcat. Oliver writes that the graves could have been prepared two days before the explosion.
“If these are graves, then this is further evidence that this was a pre-planned Russian war crime,” Oliver wrote.
He admitted that there might be dug graves in prisoner-of-war camps, but this particular case speaks of the real intentions of the occupiers to execute the fighters.
“The number of possible graves that appear fresh in these pictures and the scale of war crimes seem more than a coincidence. I believe the POWs may have been killed before the explosion, which was later used as cover to blame Ukraine,” Oliver added.

Ukrainian director Tanu Muino’s music video for Harry Styles’ song “As It Was” received four nominations at the MTV Video Music Awards 2022 – “Video of the Year”, “Best Direction”, “Best Cinematography,” and “Best Operator Work”. Nikita Kuzmenko is the video operator.

This is quite a dangerous thing, as it has a high burning temperature and can cause large-scale burns. Several such traps caused dry grass to catch fire. Rescue services respond promptly, extinguishing fires.”
17 Russian warships and boats are maneuvering in the Black Sea off the Crimean coast from Cape Tarkhankut to Novorossiysk. Among them are six carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles (44 missiles), as well as four large landing ships.

The one hundred and fifty-eighth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation to the Russian military invasion continues.
The situation has not changed in the Volyn and Poliske directions, units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus are carrying out the task of strengthening the protection of the section of the Belarusian-Ukrainian border in the Brest and Gomel regions.
In the Siverskyi direction, the enemy shelled the areas of the settlements of Gai and Senkivka in the Chernihiv region and Shevchenkove, Ryzhivka, Bilopillia, Iskryskivshchyna and Romashkovye in the Sumy region with barrel and rocket artillery. He also conducted an aerial reconnaissance of the UAV near the Iron Bridge in Chernihiv region.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy carried out fire damage from barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of the settlements of Kharkiv, Duvanka, Udy, Dementiivka, Petrivka, Prudyanka, Pytomnyk, Pryshyb, Pushkarne, Ruski Tyshki, Protopopivka, Verkhnya Rohanka, Korobochkine, Borschova, Stary Saltiv, Ruska Lozova, Slatine, and Sosnivka. The enemy’s naval group in the waters of the Black and Azov Seas focuses its main efforts on blocking civilian shipping in the northwestern part of the Black Sea and damaging military facilities and infrastructure elements deep in the territory of Ukraine.

Can Russia announce mobilization if no one attacked it?

According to him, as a result, the manpower of the occupiers “turned into coals, equipment into piles of scrap metal, and the BC flew into the air.”
“Each echelon with military equipment, personnel and ammunition is tracked in real-time from space, day and night. If your relatives work as machinists in Ukrainian Crimea or in the regions of the Russian Federation from which trains with ammunition are delivered to the territory of Ukraine, you should know that they are potential suicide bombers!” Gerashchenko said.
