The Main Intelligence Directorate urges Crimeans to report on the locations of the occupiers and the movement of equipment
Ukrainian intelligence urges Crimeans to report on the occupying troops’ locations and the movement of military equipment. So the citizens of the occupied peninsula will be able to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine to kick out the Russians from Crimea as quick as possible.
This is stated in a message on the website of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
“The Ukrainian peninsula is known for its autumn velvet season! Therefore, we ask all residents to urgently inform us of the “most popular” places to visit,” the message says.
- It is noted that you need to report about:
- the exact location of the points of deployment and addresses of residence of the occupying troops (desirable geo-referencing with coordinates);
- places of residence of the leadership of the occupying forces (desirable geo-referencing with coordinates);
- locations and routes of movement of military equipment; exact data of local collaborators who went over to the side of the enemy;
- persons who “sympathize” with the occupiers and other supporters of the occupying power.
“Together we will expel the occupiers from our native land!” the message says.
Oleg Zhdanov: Armed Forces of Ukraine are moving to the outskirts of Kherson, Russians will only be saved by swimming mattresses
Ukrainian troops are confidently moving towards Kherson. At the beginning of the day, they were about 20 km from the city’s outskirts. Today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have advanced, but it is difficult to predict by how much.
Military expert Oleg Zhdanov talked about this during an interview with Natalya Moseychuk.
According to him, the General Staff has not yet commented on exactly how the front line in the Kherson region has changed. At the same time, CNN reports that there have been significant changes in favor of Ukrainian troops.
“There are more than 10 kilometers to Kherson. That’s for sure,” Zhdanov stated.
The expert noted that now the Armed Forces of Ukraine are “working” against an enemy group on the right bank of the Dnieper. This is quite expected.
“I predicted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine would systematically and methodically take out this grouping with the help of artillery, including rocket launchers and aviation. It would be expedient. Now there is an interruption in logistics routes. This is what we have been observing for the third day … The only problem now is to catch the ferry at the Antonovsky bridge. It is constantly moving. To catch it, you need a spotter on the spot who will tell you when it stops for loading or unloading,” Zhdanov said.
The expert stated that the Russian troops in the Kherson region were not only surrounded. They are also cut in half. Crossings across the Ingulets river were destroyed. There is no communication between the two parts of the enemy grouping.
Zhdanov stressed that genuine panic is already reigning among the occupiers, which is also confirmed by intercepts. The Russians understand that the bridges are destroyed, there are no escape routes, and they are trapped.
“In fact, they (the Russians) feel what we felt in the Donetsk direction. We take them out of their positions. If possible, we will move forward. There are two options: either they flee or surrender,” he said.
Zhdanov recalled that a month ago, residents of the Kherson region told how the Russians bought up all the swimming facilities after strikes on the Antonovsky bridge. The occupiers who have stocked up with air mattresses have a chance of being saved. However, as the expert notes, it will be complicated to cross the Dnieper and almost impossible with ammunition and ammunition.
In the event of taking control over the right bank of the Dnieper, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will take under fire control the provision of the Zaporizhzhia direction of the enemy.
“We are actually cutting off the ways of reinforcing this grouping from the territory of Crimea. And the terrain there is like that, if there are no settlements, then it is impossible to gain a foothold there. If our artillery takes the Russians out of positions, then we can gradually build bridges and transport our grouping to the left bank,” – said Zhdanov.
According to him, Ukrainian military aviation is actively working in the Kherson direction, but Russian air defense in the region practically does not exist anymore.
SBU collected the evidence base regarding the war crimes of 3 more soldiers of the Russian Federation, who committed atrocities during the occupation of the Kyiv region
The Security Service of Ukraine collected indisputable evidence of war crimes committed by three more Russian soldiers. In particular, it is about:
- Lieutenant Colonel Andrii Marushkin, commander of the 15th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of Oleksandriysk (OMSBr);
- contractors Oleksiy Tokmakov and Oleksiy Kroshkin.
Thus, in the period from March 1 to March 30, 2022, Lieutenant Colonel Marushkin gave criminal orders to carry out artillery shelling of populated areas and civilian objects.
This caused significant destruction of public facilities and the death of civilians. In particular, due to the order of this rashist, people were affected in:
- 6 villages of Brovary district of Kyiv region (Lukyanivka, Pershotravneve, Gogoliv, Svitylnia, Bohdanivka, Shevchenkive);
- 3 villages of Nizhyn district, Chernihiv region (Nova Basany, Stara Basany, Novy Bykiv).
Currently, he has been notified of suspicion under 2 articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- Part 2 of Art. 437 (waging an aggressive war or aggressive military actions);
- Part 2 of Art. 28 (commitment of a criminal offense by a group of persons by prior conspiracy)
As for the two contractors of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, according to the SBU, on March 11, they shot a resident of Gostomel, who refused to help the occupiers unload ammunition.
According to eyewitness testimony, Oleksiy Tokmakov gave a notoriously criminal order to shoot a civilian, and his subordinate, contractor Oleksiy Kroshkin, carried out this order.
Working within the framework of this criminal proceeding, the SBU officers also established the locations of the headquarters of the two separate military units that occupied Gostomel and seized personnel lists of the “elite” police unit of the Rosguard of the Russian Federation.
The service continues its work to establish the personal involvement of each military officer of the Russian Federation in crimes against civilians.
SBU employees exposed war criminals under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor’s office.
Russian contractors and FSB officers staged a deadly shootout in Kherson
In June, Russian military and FSB officers opened fire in a cafe in temporarily occupied Kherson. Three of them died.
Yahoo News reports this with reference to the report of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation on the incident, which was at the disposal of journalists.
The shootout occurred on June 19 around 20:00. Three FSB officers – Igor Yakubinsky, Sergey Privalov, and D. A. Borodin – entered a cafe on Ushakov Avenue. Russian contractors have already been drinking in the establishment – Sergeant Sergei Obukhov and Junior Sergeant Igor Sudin from the eighth artillery regiment of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
The FSB agents allegedly reproached the invaders for drunkenness in uniform and with weapons. Obukhov responded by firing a pistol at the floor. FSB officer Privalov tried to grab a pistol, and Sosudin opened fire from an Ak-74 – Yakubinsky and Privalov returned fire
As a result of the skirmish, contract soldier Obukhov, FSB officers Privalov and Yakubinsky were killed. Borodin and Sudin were hospitalized in a hospital in Sevastopol. Another FSB officer, whose name was not disclosed, fled the shootout scene.
Earlier in the temporarily occupied Vasilyevka, Zaporizhzhia region, a conflict broke out between the Buryats and the “Kadyrovites”. They had a firefight because each side wanted to control the city. The fight ended in casualties, although the exact number of dead and wounded is unknown.
Defence Intelligence: The occupiers plan to strengthen the defense of Crimea with “Moscovites”, “St. Petersburgers” and conscripts
As it became known, the military commissariats of even the Moscow and Leningrad regions, including Moscow and St. Petersburg, received instructions regarding the mass conscription of local residents for military service.
“Moscovites” and “St. Petersburgers” called up during covert mobilization will be equipped with military units stationed in Crimea.
In addition, to resupply the military units of the Russin Federation stationed in the occupied territory of the Republic of Crimea and strengthen the defense of the Crimean Peninsula, the commander of the Southern Military District, Army General Oleksandr Volodymyrovych Dvornikov(the so-called “Syrian Butcher”) decided to send 1,200 to Crimea conscript servicemen.
Since combat operations are not yet being conducted on the Autonomous Republic of Crimea territory, these servicemen are not offered to sign a contract, which may indicate cost savings and reluctance to pay all the allowances specified by the legislation of the Russian Federation. 1,200 conscripts will serve and die under the blows of Ukrainian troops and at the hands of “partisans” for a conscript’s salary, which is about 5 thousand rubles (about 82 US dollars). The saving of Russian state funds will also occur due to non-payment of compensation in the event of the death of servicemen, because the Russian Federation denies the participation of conscripts in hostilities.
Ukrainian theatre online: “Moments/Momenti”
The Left Bank Theater officially opened on December 21st, 1990. Today it boasts a repertoire of more than 50 performances, a strong roster of premieres, a vibrant troupe of the country’s greatest actors and great plans for the future. As of July 2019, Stas Zhirkov is the theater’s artistic director, with Tamara Trunova as chief director.
Turn back in time to relive the beginning of the 1970s. The heroes of this performance are caught up in a cycle of stories, as secretaries of state make their own adjustments to their “duties” for the people. One waits for a bonus, one saves for a new mink hat, one for a trip to the seaside.. and so the decades pass. They get promoted, get married, retire and vanish without knowing whether they have lived a good life or have only been part of a collection of arbitrary moments.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba met with Belgium’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Hadja Lahbib
Ukraine’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba and Belgium’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Hadja Lahbib met in Prague today on the margins of Gymnich meeting. It was the occasion for an update on Ukraine’s military, diplomatic and humanitarian situation on the ground, including the worrying situation at the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant.
They discussed further efforts to help Ukraine defend its territory. In this context, minister Lahbib informed her Ukrainian colleague on the support from Belgium, including Belgian’s recent 8 million euro of non-lethal support to the Ukrainian armed forces.
Minister Lahbib also welcomed the granted candidate status to Ukraine last June. Belgium is ready to support Ukraine in advancing on the path to full membership in the EU, in particular through achieving key reforms, especially in the field of rule of law.
Minister Lahbib provided the following clarification on her trip to Ukraine (Crimea): Last year, as a journalist and documentary filmmaker, she visited the city of Sevastopol in Crimea in violation of Ukrainian legislation. As a documentary filmmaker, she had the project to show how Russia used culture as power and propaganda, and how artists could live under strong domination in a trying historical period. She sincerely regrets that the visit took place under such circumstances. Minister Lahbib has always defended the sovereignty and integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders, as well as the status of Crimea as an integral part of Ukraine.
Minister Lahbib wishes to personally assure the Ukrainian people of her support and of Belgium’s willingness to contribute to the return of peace and the reconstruction of Ukraine.
Minister Kuleba welcomed Belgium’s sincere and faithful commitment to Ukraine’s territorial integrity, as well as the contributions it makes to that end.
Ministers agreed to hold their next meeting at the upcoming session of the UN General Assembly in New York to follow up on bilateral projects in Ukraine.
