The International Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine is not just a question of the will of the political leadership of Ukraine and partner countries. This is the will of the entire Ukrainian people.

At the 17th meeting of the Yalta European Strategy (YES), punishment for Russian war criminals was discussed with Latvian President Egils Levits and British lawyer and judge Geoffrey Nice, moderated by prominent historian Neil Ferguson.

We must establish justice for the sake of all those to whom the criminal invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine caused inhuman suffering. Our common priority is to protect the interests of victims and families of victims of aggression. And they demand justice.

The tribunal must be held - during or after the war. Criminals must appear before the court - in person or in absentia.
