Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak held a meeting with Secretary of State, Head of the International Policy Bureau of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland Jakub Kumoch and Minister - member of the Council of Ministers of Poland Michał Dworczyk.

Andriy Yermak expressed gratitude for the comprehensive support for Ukraine from the Republic of Poland.

"We appreciate that Poland firmly stands side by side with us in countering the armed aggression of the Russian Federation," he said.

The Head of the President's Office informed the interlocutors about the current situation at the front and the consequences of massive Russian missile attacks on the civil and energy infrastructure of Ukraine.

Further involvement of security assistance from Poland was discussed in detail with the aim of strengthening the defense capabilities of our country and effectively repelling the aggressor.

Andriy Yermak noted Ukraine's readiness to make a further contribution to ensuring global food security and the importance of continuing the "grain initiative". Possible ways of increasing the export of Ukrainian grain through the territory of Poland were considered.

There was an exchange of views on topical issues of Ukraine's interaction with the EU and NATO. The Head of the President's Office thanked the Polish side for its proactive position in matters of European and Euro-Atlantic integration of our country.

The interlocutors also coordinated approaches to the further promotion of important international initiatives of Ukraine in the context of countering Russian aggression, in particular regarding the creation of a compensation mechanism for damages caused by Russia's invasion and a special international tribunal for the crime of Russian aggression.

The parties discussed measures of bilateral political dialogue of the highest level for the nearest future.

In the framework of the meeting, the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise of the III degree was awarded to Jakub Kumoch for his significant personal contribution to the development of Ukrainian-Polish relations and international support for Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Jakub Kumoch for his efforts in defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our state.
