Advisor to the Office of the President Aleksey Arestovich explained why President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin avoids trips to the front lines.

He spoke about this during a conversation with Russian human rights activist Mark Feygin.

According to him, Putin, during possible visits to the front line, is not afraid of Ukrainians but of his own soldiers.

I suspect that he is afraid of his guards, his waiters, and secretaries. He is terrified of his doctors; he is afraid of everyone. In addition, he said that Putin does not go to the front lines because the Russian military will be scared when they see their president.
