The assistant to the Ministry of Defense said that Belarus "will defend itself with all available means."

This was stated by Assistant Minister of Defense of Belarus for International Military Cooperation Valery Revenko, according to the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus.

He accused the NATO countries neighboring Belarus of strengthening and creating opportunities for receiving foreign military forces of the Alliance.

Revenko said that a "united transitional government" is functioning in Lithuania, which wants to overthrow the Lukashenko regime. At the same time, he accused Poland of supporting the Belarusian opposition and building up its military potential.

According to him, Belarus "will defend itself with all available means."

"Belarus will defend its national interests using all available means, in particular through military force, and reserves the right to take a set of preventive measures of strategic deterrence to prevent an attack or neutralize an internal armed conflict," Revenko said.

He claims that there are no Belarusian military in Ukraine.
