The Days of Europe will be celebrated in Odessa on May 14 and 15 in accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated April 19, 2003. A number of solemn and thematic events will take place in Odessa, according to the mayor's office.

The Eurotown will be located on Primorsky Boulevard of Odessa, providing information stands about the countries members of the European Union.

Ceremonies:

• May 14 (Friday), meeting of the Council "Odessa Association of Nationalities" with the participation of the Diplomatic Corpus accredited in Odessa.
• May 15 (Saturday) at 11:00: a solemn ceremony of raising the State Flag of Ukraine and the flag of the European Union at the administrative building of the Odessa City Council on Dumskaya Square. The event will be held with the participation of representatives of the Diplomatic Corpus, of the city and region administration, of national-cultural societies and organisations.

Events:

• May 14, at 10:00 am, the Day of the Righteous Among the Nations will be celebrated in Prokhorovsky Park (a rally on the Alley of the Righteous Among the Nations).
• May 14, the Artodessa Gallery (Summer Theater in the City Garden) will open an exhibition "National cultural heritage of the city of Odessa in the works of Odessa artists" and a presentation of the catalog as part of the First International Festival "Odessa - May - Folkfest".
• May 15 at 12:30 at the monument to Adam Mitskevich (1, Aleksandrovsky Ave.), a map "Where is my family from" will be opened, where everyone can put a symbolic flag and stretch a thread to Odessa. At 13:00 a concert will begin near the monument to Adam Mickiewicz on the occasion of the 230th anniversary of the Constitution on May 3 of the Republic of Poland, as well as all May holidays.
• May 15 at 11:00 an excursion organised with the support of the Public Organisation "German Youth in the Odessa Region" will begin. The beginning of the excursion is a corner of old Odessa (courtyard of house No. 5 on Gogol street) at the Mother-in-law's bridge.
• The Holocaust Museum (Malaya Arnautskaya str., 111) hosts the exhibition "Righteous Among the Nations, Clergy".

On the occasion of the Days of Europe, other numerous thematic events will be held in educational institutions and libraries of Odessa.
