This year marks the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Luxembourg.

In 2022, Luxembourg spent 16% of its defense budget on military aid to Ukraine.

The Ministry of Defense of the country reported this on Twitter.

This year Luxembourg took an unprecedented step by supporting Ukraine with military equipment worth 75 million €. That’s 16% of our 2022 defence budget. We support Ukraine in its right to self-defence.

According to the report, Ukraine received 102 NLAW anti-tank systems, 7 Jeep Wranglers, 28 highly mobile HMMWV off-road vehicles and 20 12.7 mm machine guns for them, 18 generators, 5 thousand helmets, body armor, and other equipment.
