17 people died in the night missile attack on Zaporizhzhia, in southern Ukraine. The provisional budget was communicated on Telegram by Anatoly Kurtev, secretary of the city council.

"According to preliminary data - he writes - five private houses were destroyed and about 40 were damaged. At this moment, 17 people are known to have died". According to local media reports there are also 44 injured. The governor of Zaporizhzhzia Oblast, Oleksandr Starukh spoke of "an enemy missile attack", with the destruction of a skyscraper in the center of the city. Following the bombing of the Russians, a fire also broke out: condominiums and private buildings were damaged. At least 10 missiles would be launched on the Ukrainian city in whose territory the main nuclear power plant of Ukraine is located. Starukh denounced that "the enemy continues to terrorize the city".

Zaporizhzhia again. More merciless attacks on peaceful people, on residential buildings, in the middle of the night. Inhumane and terrorists.

Zaporizhzhia was also the target of missile attacks on Thursday and Friday. Another 17 people died in the 6 October raid. Several wounded. Instead, the bombing on Friday night caused damage to the power system of the Dniprovska nuclear power plant. As a result, the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant ran out of electricity. The Ukrainian Ministry of Energy has announced that over 700,000 Ukrainians are without electricity due to the war triggered by Russia. Most of them in the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Luhansk and Mykolaiv regions. On the other hand, 621,500 Ukrainians are left without gas.
