Following the long-awaited snowfall, the weather decided to please Odessa residents with severe subzero temperatures. During the night. the thermometer dropped below 15 degrees Celsius and forecasters promise such a level for another three days.

The temperature difference made the sea surface in the Odessa harbour soar. The Black Sea is unlikely to have time to freeze, but it can cover piers and stones with ice glaze. On Sunday, many Odessans, who are usually not afraid of frosts, walked along the seaside or the Health Track to admire the fascinating spectacle.

On the Laguna beach, which was once opened for general visits by Mikhail Saakashvili, a large flock of ducks, about 30 heads, was noticed.
