The acceptance of applications for participation in the Pitching of the Odesa International Film Festival, which will be held as an associated event of the European Film Market, the international marketplace of the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival, is open.

Producers and directors of Ukrainian projects or joint production with Ukraine projects are invited to participate. Projects are allowed to participate: feature films, animation and documentary feature films and feature and documentary series.

In total, 12 projects at the pre-production stage will be selected for participation in the OIFF Pitching, which will be presented during the European Film Market.

“The Ukrainian film industry continues to struggle with the challenges posed to it by a full-scale war launched by Russia. Thanks to our partners, we can continue our activities on international friendly platforms. Thus, in February, Ukrainian projects that are at the initial stage of development will be presented to international film professionals during the Berlin Film Festival. We are waiting for a variety of ideas and interesting cases that will definitely find their audience”, said Anna Machukh, General Director of OIFF.

The 73rd Berlin International Film Festival will take place on February 16-26, 2023. The European Film Market runs from February 16-22, 2023.
