Similar actions "Bayraktar for the Armed Forces of Ukraine" have already taken place in Poland, Lithuania, Norway and Canada.

Fundraising has begun in Latvia for the purchase of the Bayraktar TB2 strike and reconnaissance drone for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The collection was initiated by the Latvian musician Ralfs Eiland, reports Delfi.

He stressed that every resident of Latvia has the opportunity to express support for Ukraine in this brutal war, as well as to convey "hello" to the Russian occupiers with the hands of Ukrainians.

The fundraiser will last exactly one month. In total, it is necessary to raise 5 million euros for the "Latvian Bayraktar" (almost €120 thousand have already been collected).

Recall that similar actions "Bayraktar for the Armed Forces of Ukraine" have already taken place in Poland, Lithuania, Norway and Canada.

"With a donation to "Latvijas bairaktar" we also have the opportunity to show our support for Ukraine in this cruel war, as well as, with the hands of Ukrainians, to convey our greetings to the Russian occupiers!" this is what Ralf Eiland, one of its initiators, says about the promotion. His Ukrainian friend Volodymirs Biryukovs, who is also the herald of the project, adds: "I am extremely grateful for everything that Latvia has already done for Ukraine! We see it and appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts. This support is also essential for my people. Nothing will succeed for the Russian occupiers and Vladimir Putin, because the strong Ukrainian army has already proven that it can defend not only Ukraine, but also the entire civilized, democratic and, most importantly, the free world!"
