According to the publication, "volunteers" are being recruited into the battalion. The information was confirmed in the Primorsky district's military registration and enlistment office of St. Petersburg.

The Russians are offered to sign a contract for six months and undergo training, which lasts about a month. At the same time, they promise to pay 100 thousand rubles for it. After sending to Ukraine, payments are promised to be increased. In addition, battalion fighters can retain their place at work.

"When the unit goes west, you get paid $53 a day plus 'offensive' $8,000 a day. Plus additional payments for military merit: an infantry fighting vehicle, a drone - 50,000 rubles, a tank - 100,000 rubles. That is, people there receive from 200,000 up to half a million," the military registration and enlistment office said.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, a campaign is actively unfolding in Russia under the slogan "From each subject of the Federation in a battalion." The Kremlin has ordered each of Russia's 85 regions, including those occupied by Crimea, to form and financially incentivize one new battalion of volunteers to participate in the war against Ukraine.

In addition, in Russia, mercenaries from the countries of Central Asia, prisoners, and representatives of remote regions are recruited for the war.
