The Minister of Development of Communities and Territories Oleksiy Chernyshov agreed with his Polish counterpart Michał Dworczyk on the free transfer of 3 modular towns for temporarily displaced persons in Ukraine free of charge today the Polish side began establishing them in Lviv.

“I am convinced that these towns will be comfortable for migrants. Each town can accommodate 350 people, contains both residential and sanitary modules (toilet / shower), as well as equipped with lighting, heating, sockets, which is important - the necessary furniture. Yes, they will not replace the house, but at least they will give comfort to those who escaped from hell, which the enemy arranged on our land," said Oleksiy Chernyshov.

The Minister also thanked the Polish side for giving our fellow citizens the opportunity to receive a comfortable temporary shelter and for free delivery and installation. "Poland remains our reliable partner and friend!" He emphasized.

He also thanked the mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadov for allocating sites for these towns with 25 modular structures.

According to the UN, the Lviv region is the most densely populated among migrants, where more than 560,000 of our citizens have temporarily moved. That is why the establishment of such cities was started in Lviv.
