On August 16, the Ukrainian government approved the addition of two new industrial parks to the national register: Sokyriany Industry HUB in Sokyriany, Chernivtsi region, and KIT in Bucha, Kyiv region.

"Both parks are expected to create around 1,350 jobs in the industrial sector. The government's priority is to shift from raw material production to deep processing, focusing on high-value-added goods. With these additions, Ukraine now has 90 registered industrial parks across nearly all regions. These initiatives are intended to attract investment and advance Ukrainian manufacturing, aligning with the "Made in Ukraine" policy," according to Vitaliy Kindratov, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine.

The Sokyriany Industry HUB will focus on producing construction materials, metal structures, electrical equipment, and other technical products. The KIT park will specialize in the processing industry, including the production of plastic building materials, metal doors, and windows.

Park developers can access both private and public funding. Registration grants eligibility for state incentives, including compensation for infrastructure construction, tax benefits, and exemptions from forest loss compensation.

Investment in the Sokyriany Industry HUB is projected to reach UAH 620 million from 2024 to 2026, with investors from the UAE and Germany. The KIT park plans to attract UAH 1.75 billion in private and credit funds for its development.
