On March 8, 2023, the Science&Business – GIST Pitch Days was launched – an event for scientists and entrepreneurs with ready-made knowledge-intensive solutions, where they can present their startups and receive financial support for their development.

“Undoubtedly, supporting innovative projects in these areas is very important. We are talking about saving lives, restoring war-affected regions of Ukraine, developing technologies, solving global problems of humanity – shortages of food, energy, and mineral resources, improving the healthcare system, and environmental safety. It is to address these challenges that the Science&Business series of events will continue to be successfully implemented,” said Andrii Vitrenko, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science.

Ukrainian innovators with progressive solutions in the healthcare, agro- and biotechnology categories took part in the event.

The winners who will receive financial support of USD 5,000 each for the development of innovative projects from GIST are:

Healthcare:

• Pre-sowing seed treatment “Parostok”;

• Biogenic silver.

Agrotechnology and biotechnology:
