Moscow will evacuate the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation from the temporarily occupied Crimea in the event of an operation by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to liberate the peninsula. It is important that during the de-occupation of Ukrainian territory, the means of the Armed Forces of Ukraine could reach the ships of the Russian Federation.

"The main task of the Black Sea Fleet is not to support those forces and troops that are defending. This will most likely be an evacuation. The entire fleet, ships, forces, and assets. And most importantly, this is an attempt to steal our property from Crimea. We can recall the Second World War - this is how it happened," said Stepan Yakimyak, head of the Naval Department of the National Defense University of Ukraine.

At the same time, he reads that Russia will relocate its fleet to Novorossiysk and other ports in the Black Sea, so during the liberation of Crimea, it is necessary that the funds of the Ukrainian army could reach Russian ships.

“Unfortunately for the enemy, his actions are stereotyped, lacking initiative. The experience of the defeat of the cruiser Moscow and other successful operations indicate that we now have a strategic initiative, an intellectual initiative, and it has not disappeared,” Yakimyak summed up.
