$5,000,000 was transferred from the Qatar Fund for Development, Qatar’s state organization, to the account of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine via the UNITED24.

The funds will be used to procure ambulance vehicles, as well as anesthetic machines designed to perform inhalation anesthesia during surgical procedures in medical facilities.

"For the first time in 2 months of UNITED24 activity, a large organization has made a contribution towards medical aid. Such donations from foundations are crucial for us, as we understand that we can cover a great need with a single payment,” commented Viktor Lyashko, the Minister of Health of Ukraine. “We thank the Qatar Fund For Development for a significant contribution to saving lives. We invite other organizations to cooperate so that the funds collected to help Ukrainians are used efficiently and purposefully."
