Currently, about 30,000 Starlinks are working in Ukraine, which was obtained thanks to the agreements of the Ministry of Digital Affairs with international donors and partners. Terminals allow Ukrainians to use high-quality Internet even in hard-to-reach places and stay connected even during blackouts. Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov showed how Starlinks work in one of the Unbreakable Points of the State Emergency Service.

"Internet today is a basic need. The team of the Ministry of Digital Transformation provides Ukraine with Starlinks, so Ukrainians can use high-quality communication where fixed or mobile communication does not work. Recently, we received a new batch from Poland - 8 thousand terminals. We transfer a significant part of them to Points of Invincibility. Hundreds of Starlinks are already working there so that Ukrainians can call, call an ambulance, or work during blackouts. During 10 months of full-scale war, we managed to secure almost 30,000 Starlinks for Ukraine," noted Mykhailo Fedorov.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Starlinks have become part of the critical infrastructure. Thanks to the terminals, hospitals, schools, energy and social sectors continue to work. Also, with Starlinks, telecommunications workers quickly restore communication to the de-occupied territories. Ukrainians can contact their relatives or use the Internet, in particular, at Points of invincibility.

In addition, a significant part of Starlinks is received by the military. This is our competitive advantage that the enemy does not have. Terminals have already changed the war's course and helped bring our victory closer.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation team continues to negotiate with SpaceX and partners so that Ukraine receives even more Starlinks.
