The sea port of Chornomorsk was visited by Davlatali Nazrizoda, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Ukraine, to get acquainted with the transport and logistic possibilities of the port of Chornomorsk and discuss the promising directions of bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Tajikistan in the field of transport and trade.

During the meeting, the specialists of the Port Administration showed a presentation of the production capabilities of the Chornomorsk sea port and showed the guests the development projects that are already underway in the seaport and projects that are at the stage of preparation.

First of all, these are public-private partnership projects that will promote the development of the maritime industry and will attract investment and modernise the fixed assets of port enterprises.

To assess the prospects of possible cooperation, the representatives of the foreign delegation visited the production area of ​​the port, where they got acquainted with the objects of port infrastructure.

During a visit to the Multimodal Terminal "Chornomorsk Sea Commercial Port", members of the delegation discussed on-site issues related to the development of trade relations between Tajikistan and Ukraine and touched upon aspects of the demand for cargo transportation from Central Asia to Europe and back.

The project office of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine has developed an action plan to prepare for the transfer of the port's ferry services and ferry complex to concession.
