CES is the largest technology and consumer electronics expo traditionally held at the beginning of the year in Las Vegas. In 2024, Ukraine is represented by 12 startups selected through CES Pitch Day, showcasing solutions ranging from disease screening to portable water purification systems.

Deus Robotics

The warehouse robotics startup, founded in 2018 by Pavlo Pikulin, specializes in AI technology for orientation and coordination of robots in space, quickly integrating into warehouse operators' processes. Deus Robotics' largest and currently sole client is the Ukrainian company "Nova Poshta." In February 2023, the startup secured $1.5 million in seed funding from SMRK fund led by Oleksandr Kosovan. The new funds are intended for scaling operations in the United States.

CheckEye

The startup is managed by an international team located in the United Kingdom, Ukraine, and Switzerland. It offers a cloud-based solution for detecting diabetic retinopathy through fundus photo imaging using ML/AI algorithms.

In the summer of 2023, CheckEye began implementing diabetic retinopathy screening in the Zakarpattia region using artificial intelligence. This initiative aims to assist endocrinologists and family doctors in early detection of diabetic retinopathy.

Melt Water Club

The startup, founded by Andriy Osadchy, offers a technical solution for obtaining premium-quality drinking water through the innovative Freezing Process technology.

Melt Water Club is the culmination of a seven-year journey towards a dream that Andriy now presents globally. In early 2022, Andriy and his team created a device for independent water purification, initially tested in home settings and manufacturing. The project involves the collaboration of seven inventors.

FARMHUB

The startup offers software and gadgets that increase milk yields by timely detecting the fertility period, monitoring the behavior of milking cows, and other farm animals. The startup claims that their technology improves farm efficiency by 30%.

InvisionaryBox

This is a neural network that understands the person's position, the position of hands, legs, and the person's body. The technology is equipped in a box with an LED screen that displays interactive video, a camera for motion detection, and a Mac-based computer that processes the received information.

The development of InVisionaryBox started in 2023, but the startup idea emerged in 2015 when one of the participants, Alexander Velychko, was involved in augmented reality.

JetBeep

This is an IT platform consisting of microcontrollers and software that helps connect the physical world with smartphones and the internet. JetBeep consists of three parts: the device itself, Mobile SDK, and cloud infrastructure.

Meredot

This startup, founded by Ukrainian Roman Bysko, creates wireless charging stations for micromobility transport, reducing the carbon footprint. In 2022, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European Union allocated a €500,000 grant to support Ukrainian startups, including Meredot.

MyBro

Founded by Denis Dimov, this startup manufactures electric scooters for courier services of network supermarkets, postal companies, and also for military units of the Ukrainian army.

ShinyClub

A desktop smart device with AI designed to boost the productivity of remote teams. CEO and co-founder of the company, Igor Kulakov, mentioned that they chose this niche because they themselves work remotely extensively and, from their own experience, understand the local challenges.

Versi Bionics

"Versi Bionics" was founded by three friends and IT specialists – Serhiy Tomuz, Yuriy Pozhar, and Borys Holovko. They have been working on creating a bionic prosthesis for three years. The uniqueness of their product lies in the two-axis automatic rotating wrist, vibro and thermal feedback, and modular fingers. The developers claim that 70% of the components of their prosthesis are Ukrainian. With the launch of mass production, the inventors plan to increase this figure by modifying Chinese motors.

OptySun

A team of inventors from Kharkiv created the portable water purifier "OptySun" with built-in solar panels, which transforms any technical water into drinking water by disinfecting it and providing access to drinking water where needed. The uniqueness of the startup is that it does not use consumables or chemical reagents.

FarmFleet

Ukrainian AgroTech startup, born during the period of the full-scale invasion by Russia, is a project of the DroneUA group of companies. It is a specialized online service developed to optimize business processes within the rapidly growing market of drone spraying services and, more broadly, the service business in agriculture. In the summer of 2023, the startup announced the successful completion of its first investment round, raising $550,000 with a valuation of $3,700,000.
