4 killed, 44 injured in Russian attacks across Ukraine

Russian forces carried out a series of attacks across multiple Ukrainian regions over the past day, killing and injuring civilians and damaging residential and critical infrastructure, according to regional authorities.

In the Mykolaiv region, three people were injured in attacks involving Shahed-type drones and falling debris, regional officials reported. In Mykolaiv city, a 44-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man were injured. The woman was hospitalised in moderate condition, while the man received treatment at the scene. A private home was also damaged. A 10-year-old child experienced an acute stress reaction and received on-site medical assistance.

In Mykolaiv district, Russian forces struck Kutsurub and Zavodske communities with Molniia-type drones. In Blahodatne, a 35-year-old man was hospitalised in moderate condition after being wounded. In another settlement, residential windows were damaged.

Zaporizhzhia region came under heavy fire, with 871 strikes recorded across 49 settlements, regional authorities said. Russian forces used drones, air strikes, artillery and multiple rocket launchers, targeting both urban and rural areas. One person was killed and eight were injured in Zaporizhzhia city and surrounding communities. Dozens of residential buildings and civilian infrastructure sites were damaged.

Emergency services continue to respond to the aftermath of the attacks.

In Donetsk region, one civilian was killed and seven others were injured in Russian attacks over the past day, according to regional authorities. The fatality was reported in Druzhkivka. 

Russian forces carried out more than 20 strikes across three districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region using drones and aerial bombs, leaving nine people injured. In Synelnykove district, residential buildings, vehicles and a market were damaged, with six people hospitalised, including one man in critical condition. Other strikes damaged private homes and infrastructure in Nikopol district, while infrastructure was also hit in Kamianske.

In Sumy region, two civilians were killed and 16 injured in a series of drone and artillery attacks, according to the National Police. Two women were killed in Shostka community during a mass drone strike.

In other communities, civilians were injured in drone strikes, shelling and explosions, including several cases involving women and children. Residential buildings, vehicles and infrastructure were also damaged.
