Ukrainian technology companies across various sectors, from AI to healthtech, have received funding ranging from €25,000 to €50,000 each through the Seeds of Bravery programme.

The Seeds of Bravery international consortium, composed of participants from 13 countries, recognized the excellence of Ukrainian startups meeting Horizon Europe standards, the world’s largest research and development programme.

Here’s a breakdown of the grants:

  • Innovative Entrepreneurship: 21 startups received up to €25,000 each to support business continuity and promote women-led companies.
  • Deep Tech Incubators: 10 early-stage startups received up to €25,000 each for activities prior to MVP.
  • Ukraine Reconstruction: 7 innovators received up to €25,000 each to help rebuild post-war Ukraine.
  • Scaling and Acceleration in Deep Tech: 21 startups received up to €50,000 each to scale prototypes and expand market reach.

Some of the startups awarded grants include:

  • Verba: AI-based subtitle service for videos.
  • WedCulling: AI service for photo selection for photographers and retouchers.
  • Apixmed: Virtual assistant for personalized disease treatment.
  • GreenSync.ai: AI platform for aggregating agricultural data.
  • Effy AI: Manager assistant providing tailored advice on employee engagement and development.
  • R.Flo: Battery developer.
  • Corner Renovation: AI-based kitchen renovation platform.
  • OptySun: Portable autonomous water purification system.
  • Zberydim: Framework constructor for wooden houses.
  • Nasnaga: Medical platform.
  • Harvy Market: Marketplace for farmer and artisanal products.
  • Beholder: AI platform for mineral exploration.
  • Haiqu: Software developer for quantum computing optimization.
  • S.Lab: Eco-packaging developer.
  • Mantis Analytics: AI platform for real-time processing of messages and data from media and social networks.

Seeds of Bravery has announced plans to continue supporting the Ukrainian startup ecosystem with an additional €10 million over the next 14 months.
