Russian attacks across Ukraine killed at least six civilians and injured 43 others on 29–30 October, with some of the heaviest casualties reported in Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions. Meanwhile, extensive damage to energy infrastructure triggered emergency power cuts in Dnipro and surrounding areas.

Kharkiv region. Four civilians were killed and 14 injured in a Russian air strike on Izium on 29 October, according to the city's military administration. Rescue workers recovered four bodies from the rubble of a building struck by guided aerial bombs. The impact partially destroyed the first five floors of the structure. Search and rescue operations were continuing, with authorities warning that another person could still be trapped beneath the debris.

Separately, a Russian drone struck the Osnovianskyi district of Kharkiv, setting several vehicles on fire. Regional governor Oleh Syniehubov said no casualties had been reported in the Kharkiv incident. Emergency services were deployed to extinguish the fires and assess the damage.

Zaporizhzhia region. Two people were killed and 23 others, including a minor, were injured as Russian forces carried out 792 attacks on 56 settlements across Zaporizhzhia region. The casualties were reported following strikes on Zaporizhzhia city and the surrounding district, regional official Ivan Fedorov .

The bombardment included 20 air strikes, 624 drone attacks, predominantly involving FPV drones, five multiple-launch rocket system attacks and 143 artillery strikes. Russian aircraft targeted settlements including Kushuhum, Komyshuvakha, Tavriiske, Vilniansk and Soniachne, while drones struck Zaporizhzhia city and dozens of surrounding communities. Authorities received 148 reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles and infrastructure.

Dnipropetrovsk region. Dnipro experienced renewed widespread power outages after earlier Russian strikes severely damaged the region's energy infrastructure. Regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha said the electricity network was struggling to cope with demand despite overnight repair work. Energy company DTEK subsequently confirmed that emergency power cuts had been introduced in Dnipro, neighbouring areas and parts of Pavlohrad district on instructions from national grid operator Ukrenergo.

Russian forces also launched more than 20 drone attacks overnight against four districts of Dnipropetrovsk region. In Dnipro, an industrial enterprise and infrastructure facilities were damaged. A fire broke out in the Mykolaivka community of Dnipro district. Attacks were also reported in Nikopol district, including Nikopol city and the Marhanets, Myrove, Chervonohryhorivka and Pokrovske communities. In Synelnykove district, a farm building was damaged in the Mezhova community, while the Bozhedarivka community in Kamianske district also came under attack. No casualties were reported in the regional authorities' latest overnight update.

Donetsk region. Five civilians were injured in Russian attacks on Sloviansk on 29 October, regional governor Vadym Filashkin reported. All five casualties were recorded in the city, which remains exposed to Russian strikes.

According to the regional administration, at least 4,447 civilians have been killed and 10,919 injured in Donetsk region since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion. The figures exclude casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha, where the full extent of civilian losses has not been established.

Sumy region. Russian forces carried out more than 20 attacks on 13 settlements in Sumy region between the mornings of 29 and 30 October, injuring one man. A 41-year-old resident of the Hlukhiv community was injured in a drone strike, according to the regional military administration. Three other residents — a 71-year-old man and two women aged 54 and 62 — sought medical attention for injuries sustained during a Russian drone attack on the Seredyna-Buda community on 28 October.

The latest bombardment involved artillery, mortars, FPV drones, other unmanned aircraft and guided aerial bombs, with the highest concentration of strikes recorded in Sumy and Shostka districts. Residential buildings, vehicles and civilian infrastructure were damaged across several communities, including Hlukhiv, Sumy, Seredyna-Buda, Svesa, Znob-Novhorodske and Shostka.

Poltava region. Russian forces launched another attack on an industrial enterprise in Kremenchuk district on the morning of 30 October. Regional governor Vitalii Diakivnych said the facility had been targeted again following an earlier strike. Preliminary reports indicated that no one had been injured. Authorities were continuing to assess the consequences of the attack.
