These are not only the military, but also representatives of the FSB and investigators from the regions of the Russian Federation.
A large grouping of enemy forces still remains in occupied Kherson.
This was announced by the First Deputy Chairman of the Kherson Regional Council, Yuri Sobolevsky on the air of the informational telethon, answering the question about how many Russian hostile forces remain in Kherson.
âIn fact, there is a very large group there, what is known. There are not only the military, because in Kherson itself there are a large number of the National Guard, and a large number of FSB officers and police. If at first occupiers imported specialists from the "L/DPR", now there are investigators from the regions of the Russian Federation and they live in the premises, apartments and houses that our people were forced to leave. In the center of Kherson, there are a huge number of seized apartments, that is, there are still enough of them, " Sobolevsky emphasized.
He noted that the liberation of Kherson by the Ukrainian armed forces would mean a great military and political defeat for the Russian occupiers.
âAfter Kherson itself, and then other territories of the region, are liberated, they will not even be able to explain to the Russian audience why this happened. Because the occupiers have already started handing out license plates with the region number, they are trying to shove Russian passports to our people. But after they are forced to leave here, it will already be their defeat. There will be a major military and political defeat for the Russian Federation," Sobolevsky stressed.
The first deputy chairman of the Kherson Regional Council explained why, in his opinion, the invaders continue to prepare for a pseudo-referendum.
âThey have already made so many statements about the Kherson region and the so-called âreferendumâ that they have no choice but to continue this show. But they understand that they donât have time to prepare. And with the population, no matter how they bribe it and force people to fall in love with this "Russian peace", nothing happens. Therefore, the invaders continue to prepare for a pseudo-referendum, but they understand that this show will not be very popular and will be of very low quality. As far as we know, they are already preparing to bring these tourists from Crimea and pay them money so that they play the role of Kherson residents who came to the "referendum," Sobolevsky said.
On August 10, Deputy Prime Minister-Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, Irina Vereshchuk, said that the Russian invaders had no prospects of successfully holding a "referendum" in the temporarily occupied territories, despite pressure on the local population. She once again urged citizens to evacuate.
