Russian tactical aviation once again "loses" its own aerial bombs on the way to Ukraine during combat sorties.
This time, an unexploded OFAB-250 aerial bomb equipped with a flight control module was found on the territory of the Belgorod region.
On the control module, you can see the manufacturing marking "Ðоден (Expired) 18.12.23," manually applied with a marker, which may indicate the date of production or quality control.
However, judging from the abnormal detachment from the aircraft pylon, the module could indeed have a malfunction that led to the aviation incident.

This is not the first such case in the practice of Russian aviation. The most well-known case is the simultaneous dropping of several bombs directly onto Belgorod, with one of them detonating.
Moreover, similar numerous cases have been observed in other regions of Russia and on the occupied territories.
Earlier, one of the possible reasons for such incidents was suspected to be the inability of the pylons of Russian Su-34 fighter-bombers to properly carry 500-kilogram bombs. However, in this case, we are dealing with a significantly lighter 250-kilogram bomb.
