The German company Helsing presented the HX-2 strike drone with artificial intelligence, which will be provided to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The characteristics of the kamikaze drone were revealed on the company's website.
The HX-2 drone, with its X-shaped wing and tail fin, is designed for targeting armored vehicles, artillery, and other military objectives, including structures.
The drone itself weighs 12 kg, is equipped with an electric motor, and has a range of up to 100 km.
It is equipped with four electric motors in the tail section and reaches a maximum speed of 220 kilometers per hour. The declared total weight of the HX-2 suggests that it is armed with a warhead weighing several kilograms.
The developers state that thanks to the use of artificial intelligence technology, the kamikaze drone has high autonomy under the influence of electronic warfare and can effectively target enemy objectives.
Additionally, several HX-2 drones can unite in a swarm to carry out combat missions. The company noted that these drones are already in production, and the basic technologies used in them are actively employed in Ukraine.
