The Dovbush T10 drone is a cutting-edge multi-functional tool, combining kamikaze drone carrier, reconnaissance platform, and precision strike weapon. Developed in Ukraine, it addresses the growing demands of asymmetric warfare with impressive capabilities.
A key innovation is the drone's system for attaching FPV kamikaze drones. These drones are suspended under the wings of the Dovbush T10 using a unique bomb adapter, ensuring secure attachment and precise deployment. This inverted attachment design enhances aerodynamics and flight stability, optimizing the drone’s performance.
Equipped with advanced technology, the Dovbush T10 is resistant to enemy electronic warfare and air defenses. It can carry up to six FPV kamikaze drones, each with explosive charges and cameras. The drone also features an inertial navigation system, GPS/GLONASS, high-resolution optical and infrared sensors, and a secure long-range communication system. These systems make the Dovbush T10 a powerful asset for battlefield reconnaissance, strike precision, and adaptability.
The Dovbush T10 is powered by a low-noise electric motor, making it harder to detect. Its stealthy design, coupled with modular capabilities, ensures that it remains highly effective in contested environments. Mass production began in December 2022, with over ten units produced daily, highlighting Ukraine's commitment to strengthening its defense. The drones are supplied free of charge to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, further emphasizing Ukraine’s focus on bolstering its military capabilities.
Volodymyr Yatsenko, co-founder of Monobank, has been instrumental in the development of the Dovbush T10, investing $8 million to accelerate production and launching an initiative to reward manufacturers who can create drones capable of landing in Moscow.
Primarily used for reconnaissance and artillery correction, the Dovbush T10 has an operational range of 40 kilometers. Efforts are underway to enhance its strike precision and develop versions capable of striking targets over 1,000 kilometers away. Despite some limitations, the drone represents a major leap in Ukraine’s defense innovation and showcases the nation’s resilience and technological prowess.
