Air defense forces neutralized 103 out of 118 Russian drones overnight

On the night of October 12 (starting from 8:00 p.m. on October 11), the Russian forces launched an attack using 118 strike UAVs of the Shahed type and various decoy drones from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as Hvardiiske in occupied Crimea. About 50 of them were Shaheds. The attack also included one guided air-launched Kh-31 missile from occupied Zaporizhzhia region.

The air assault was repelled by Ukraine’s air defense missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data as of 9:00 a.m., air defense shot down or neutralized 103 Shahed drones and various types of decoy UAVs over the northern, eastern, and southern regions of the country.

One missile and 15 strike drones hit targets at 10 locations.
