During the night of October 13 (starting at 8:00 p.m. on October 12), the Russian forces launched 82 attack UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types from the directions of Oryol, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia. Around 50 of them were strike drones.
The air attack was repelled by the aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data as of 9:00 a.m., air defense forces shot down or suppressed 69 UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types over the northern, eastern, and southern regions of the country.
Thirteen strike drones hit targets in seven locations, and debris from downed UAVs fell in two other areas.
