On the night of August 1 (from 9:30 PM on July 31), the Russian forces launched an attack with 72 Shahed strike drones and various types of decoy drones from the directions of Millerovo, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia.
The air assault was repelled by aviation, surface-to-air missile troops, electronic warfare units, drone defense systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data as of 9:00 AM, air defense has shot down or suppressed 44 drones across the north, south, east, and center of the country.
Impacts from 28 drones were recorded in 9 locations. The attacked frontline territories include areas in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk regions, and Kyiv region.
