Air defense shot down 43 out of 60 Russian drones

On the night of May 27 (starting from 11:50 PM on May 26), the Rusian forces launched an attack with 60 strike drones of the Shahed type and various types of drone imitators from the directions of Millerovo, Orel, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardiiske (occupied territory of Crimea).

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As of 9:00 AM, air defense had neutralized 43 Shahed-type drones (and other types of drones) across the east, north, and south of the country.

Of these, 35 were shot down by fire weapons, and 8 were lost or suppressed by electronic warfare.

Air attack impacts were recorded at 9 locations, and the crashes of downed strike drones were noted at 3 locations.
