The Russian aviation has set a record for the daily use of Guided Aerial Bombs.
As of October 24, Russian tactical aviation had deployed over 915 guided aerial bombs, primarily the modified FAB-500 bombs with the help of an onboard computerized bomb control system .
On October 23, a record number of guided aerial bombs was used within a single day in Ukraine, with approximately 100 deployed.
"There can be no doubt that in October, the occupant forces will set an absolute record in the use of Guided Aerial Bombs, exceeding 1,000," wrote military expert Alexander Kovalenko.

"On the other hand, I am more than confident that this trend will not be permanent, and after Ukraine systematically acquires ATACMS missiles and starts striking airfields in the temporarily occupied territories around the clock, the Russian army command will be forced to withdraw aviation. This will, of course, affect the ability to carry out such intensive strikes with Guided Aerial Bombs.
This turning point is likely to occur before we receive the F-16, but for now, unfortunately, that's the situation," wrote Alexander.
