US Ambassador to Kyiv, Bridget Brink, emphasized the need for immediate allocation of American security assistance for Ukraine.

In a tweet, amidst yet another mass missile attack by Russia against Ukraine, she stated,

"Now in Kyiv & around the country, men, women, and children awoke to another massive Russian missile and drone attack. We rely on Ukraine’s air defense - and its heroic air defenders - to protect us all. There is no time to lose. Ukraine needs our security assistance now."

Today, on February 7th, Russia carried out a massive missile strike on the territory of Ukraine. Explosions were reported in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Lviv regions.

Meanwhile, in the US House of Representatives, a vote on the aid package to Israel failed without Ukraine's inclusion. Earlier, President Joe Biden promised to veto it if passed.
