This was stated by the adviser to the head of the Office of the President, Aleksey Arestovich, in a conversation with Russian human rights defender Mark Feygin.

"In some sense, the counteroffensive continues. The Armed Forces of Ukraine will carefully destroy all Russian troops. At the same time, everything will continue according to the principle: of "top-down": operational, operational-tactical, and tactical levels. Long-range artillery, missile systems, and aviation will play a decisive role here. That is, Ukraine will protect its defenders. We will ensure that the occupiers have nothing to resist: neither fire nor receive commands from the leadership. And then the infantry will come in and finish them off. We will take various tactical steps to make the occupiers worry - transfer reserves, implement defense systems," Arestovich said.

The adviser to the head of the OP noted that the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces would resemble NATO's style of war.

"It's not NATO's style yet, because they could just demolish everything with long-range means and then finish off what's left, but it's closer to that. Our task is for the infantry to face the occupiers cut off from communication and weapons. History, when everything flies, it will start shooting - in our case, it will not work. This means putting a lot of infantry, equipment - we do not fight like that," said Arestovich.
