During the past night, at least six Shahed-type kamikaze drones entered Belarusian airspace from Ukraine. Belarusian air force aviation was active throughout the night.
This information was reported by the monitoring group Belaruski Hajun.
It was noted that Russian Shaheds entered Belarusian airspace from Ukraine's Chernihiv and Kyiv regions.
"The first two drones crossed around 00:09, with subsequent entries at approximately 00:30, 01:00, 03:27, and 05:55," the report stated.
Later, the entry of Shaheds into Belarus was confirmed by the Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk, who mentioned that one of the strike drones crossed into Belarus, which could mean it was lost to radar tracking in Belarus.
According to Belaruski Hajun, Belarusian air force aviation was patrolling the skies over southern Belarus for most of the night.
"A fighter jet from Baranovichi, which took off around 00:15, returned only at 02:00 and went back into the sky at 02:45," the monitoring group reported.
