Due to Russian aggression, 39 civil ships under the flags of 14 countries are blocked in the ports of the Odessa region.
According to the press service of the head of state, as part of a working trip to the Odessa region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting on the current situation in the region.
So, the head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration Maxim Marchenko informed the participants of the meeting about the measures for the region's defense. They also discussed ways to organize a corridor to export agro-industrial products from the ports of the Odessa region.
According to Marchenko, due to Russian aggression, 39 civil ships under the flags of 14 countries of the world are blocked in the region's ports. The participants of the meeting discussed issues of harvesting in the region and measures to provide agricultural machinery.
In addition, the issue of the work of industrial enterprises of the region during the Russian aggression was discussed. The participants of the meeting listened to the Commander of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Aleksey Neizhpapa, who spoke about the security situation in the Black Sea and the provision of the Navy units.
