The State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection (SSUFSCP) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) continue to jointly create new opportunities for domestic producers in foreign markets under martial law. As a result of this work, Bosnia and Herzegovina has opened a new market for the export of Ukrainian products, specifically mechanically deboned poultry meat.
"It is crucial to support Ukrainian exporters and create new opportunities for them during wartime, as it ultimately supports our state's economy. Therefore, the MFA, together with the SSUFSCP, constantly negotiates with foreign partners and gradually opens new external markets for Ukrainian producers," said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba.
"Ukrainian entrepreneurs need any support from the state, which is extremely important during wartime. The SSUFSCP, together with the MFA team, continues to open the international trade arena for our producers. Work is ongoing with about 63 countries across nearly 200 areas," emphasized the Head of the SSUFSCP, Serhiy Tkachuk.
The agreed form of the veterinary certificate for this category of products is published on the official web portal of the SSUFSCP in the "International Cooperation" section under "Veterinary Medicine and Safety" - "Export Certificates from Ukraine."
Background
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 41 forms of international veterinary certificates have been agreed upon for the export of objects subject to state veterinary and sanitary control and supervision from Ukraine, effectively opening 41 markets for Ukrainian products.
