Due to a malfunction of the tanker CORDELIA MOON, discovered in the Yeniköy area on the Bosporus while sailing from Turkey's Yalova to Russia, the Bosporus was temporarily closed to ship traffic in both directions.

"Two-way ship traffic in the Bosporus was temporarily suspended due to the tanker named CORDELIA MOON, which had a malfunction in the Yeniköy area of the Bosporus while moving from Yalova to Russia," the Turkish Ministry of Transport reported.
According to the Marine Traffic resource, the oil tanker was heading to Novorossiysk. The report did not specify what kind of malfunction occurred on the vessel.
