Traffic on the bridge on the M-15 “Odesa–Reni” highway (toward Bucharest) in the village of Maiaky, Odessa region, was closed from 8:00 a.m. on December 19.

“The bridge is an important logistics artery, as it connects Odessa with the entire southern part of Odessa region. During the full-scale invasion, repair works were carried out on the bridge structure as part of routine maintenance,” the statement said.
It is noted that the structure has been hit by enemy strikes multiple times.
“At present, it is impossible to say exactly when traffic will be restored. Given the security situation, restoration works are not being carried out there,” the agency reported.
An expert examination and assessment of the condition of the structures is ongoing.
