The United Kingdom has opened a tender for the procurement of equipment and services under the International Fund for Ukraine (IFU).

The news was published on the official government website of the United Kingdom.

The International Fund for Ukraine is a financing mechanism that utilizes contributions from international partners to purchase priority military equipment for Ukraine.

The fund is managed by the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom on behalf of the executive commission, which includes the United Kingdom, Norway, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, and Lithuania. These partners, along with Iceland, have contributed £896 million to the fund.

In close collaboration with Ukraine, the commission of the fund determines the types and requirements for the weaponry to be purchased.

Currently, the United Kingdom has opened a tender, inviting applications from manufacturers worldwide. It includes air defense assets and equipment for maritime operations.

Specifically, to enhance Ukrainian air defense, the fund is seeking:

  • MC1 – Small Crewed Boats, 12-18m
  • MC2 – Reinforced Hull Inflatable Boats, 5-10m
  • MC3 – Maritime ISR Uncrewed Aerial Systems
  • MC4 – Maritime ISR Uncrewed Surface Vessels
  • MC5 – Maritime loitering munitions
  • MC6 – Mine Counter Measure Uncrewed Underwater Vehicles

Air Defence

  • AD1 – Small Tactical Air Defence Radars
  • AD2 – Rigid Decoys of Land systems
  • AD3 – Repair of former Soviet Union missiles e.g. KUB, STRELA, IGLA
  • AD4 – Handheld Counter Uncrewed Aerial System Electronic Warfare system
  • AD5 – Vehicle mounted Counter Uncrewed Aerial System Electronic Warfare system
