The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed elements of the S-400 air defense system in Simferopol, Crimea, on November 29, 2024. This is the second successful strike on the Russian S-400 system in November.
This was reported by the UK Ministry of Defence on X (Twitter).
According to the briefing, social media highlighted explosions and missile fuel detonation linked to the destruction of air defense system components.
British intelligence reported that images showed two craters measuring 13.5 meters in diameter, scattered debris, and five emergency response vehicles.
"This is the second recorded successful strike on Russian S-400 air defense systems by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in November, following the destruction of an S-400 system in the Kursk region on November 23, 2024," the UK Ministry of Defence stated.
