The Foreign Ministers of Canada and Italy, Mélanie Joly and Antonio Tajani, discussed further support for Ukraine in countering Russian aggression.

"I was glad to connect with my Italian colleague Antonio Tajani to discuss Italy's presidency in the G7 this year. We talked about the conflict in the Middle East, the need for further support for Ukraine's fight for freedom, and our shared engagement in the Indo-Pacific region," stated the minister.
