Centravis Production Ukraine (Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region), part of the Centravis Ltd. holding, has supplied boiler tubes to the Brazilian market for Caldema, a company specializing in industrial equipment manufacturing.
According to the company’s press release on Tuesday, the total volume of the shipment amounted to 193 tons.
The Ukrainian pipes are intended for the production of a steam boiler that will operate using cotton seed biomass. This project is part of the ecological trend of using biomass as an alternative energy source. The boiler is being developed for one of Brazil's enterprises, which aims to reduce its dependence on fossil fuels.
This is an important step towards sustainable development, as the technology for processing cotton seeds allows for the production of eco-friendly energy, reducing CO₂ emissions.
"This is a significant order—for one of the major companies in this industry and a prominent player in the local market. We hope it will help expand our company's presence in the South American market, which has been actively growing in recent years," said Artem Atanasov, Centravis’ Sales Director.
It is also noted that Brazil ranks in the top 10 countries globally by GDP.
Meanwhile, Centravis is one of the top 10 global producers of hot-rolled seamless stainless steel tubes. In 2024, the company increased its production volume by 12%, reaching 13,700 tons, with more than 99% of this volume being exported to 40 countries worldwide. Some of the largest consumers of Ukrainian seamless tubes include Germany, the USA, Italy, Austria, and Spain.
“Last year, we saw very good growth dynamics in the North and South American markets. We know this region and will work on growing sales in this part of the world,” emphasized Atanasov.
Centravis was founded in 2000 and is among the top producers of seamless stainless steel tubes worldwide. Its main production facilities are located in Nikopol (Dnipropetrovsk region). In 2023, the company opened a branch in Uzhhorod.
The Centravis Ltd. holding was created on the basis of the Nikopol Stainless Steel Tube Plant, service, and trading companies YVIS. Its shareholders are members of the Atanasov family. Centravis Ltd. owns 100% of the shares in Centravis Production Ukraine.
