According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, a new anti-corruption reform is starting in Ukraine, which significantly simplifies the procedure for customs clearance of a car. At the same time, it protects you from price manipulation as it is fully digitalized.
What does it mean?
In the Diia application, you can calculate the exact cost of customs duties according to the formula, even before buying a car. It covers the constant characteristics of transport: volume, type and power of the engine, age of the car, and exclusivity.
To submit a declaration, it will be enough to enter the VIN code of the car, and the calculation of all payments is calculated automatically. You can pay for everything in the application in 5 minutes.
After customs clearance, the car can be registered in Ukraine with a few clicks in the Diia application.
The project is supported by the NGO Office of Simple Solutions and Results and the USAID / UK aid project Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services / TAPAS.
The Cabinet of Ministers notes that this is one of the most important anti-corruption reforms in the customs industry. It should eliminate corruption in the customs clearance of cars.
