In Czechia and Estonia, it has been confirmed that their representatives will not attend the inauguration of Vladimir Putin's new presidency on May 7th.

Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs Jan Lipavský announced on the Nova channel on Sunday that the government has recalled the Czech Ambassador to Russia, Vitezslav Pivonka, and there will be no Czech representative at Putin's inauguration on Tuesday.

"The current relations between Czechia and Russia do not correspond to the presence of our embassy representative at the inauguration of the Russian president on Tuesday," explained Lipavský.

Estonian Minister of Foreign Affairs Margus Tsahkna, in a comment to local media, including ERR, also confirmed the absence of an Estonian representative at Putin's spectacle on May 7th.

"Estonia cannot legitimize diplomatic relations with an aggressor state, and we have decided not to attend Putin's inauguration ceremony," said Tsahkna, adding that Tallinn "considers participation in ceremonies commemorating his rule unthinkable."
