Ukraine has several options for a counteroffensive and developments at the front. This was stated by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov on the air of a nationwide telethon.
"We are aware of all the processes taking place at the front. We never disclose all the issues that are discussed at closed meetings. All assumptions regarding the plans of the Ukrainian military, including those regarding the counteroffensive, have no basis. All this will be decided. At the last moment, when the final decision will be made," Danilov said.
According to him, the Ukrainian military has "not one, not two, not three or even four options for the development of events at the front," since it depends on many factors that are assessed every day.
Danilov urged not to put an "equal" sign between the future counteroffensive and the final victory of Ukraine.
"This is a difficult war and a difficult adversary. We do not have an interpretation of only a counteroffensive. We understand that we need to liberate all our territories up to the borders of 1991. Until we do this, there can be no talk of ending the war," the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council summed up.
