Ukrainian Defense Forces have once again struck the Chongar Bridge, as well as the bridge connecting Henichesk with the Arabat Spit, according to the Kherson-based publication Most.
“In the temporarily occupied Kherson region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine once again hit the Chongar Bridge. The bridge connecting Henichesk with the Arabat Spit was also struck,” the report says.
According to the publication, citing the head of the occupation administration in Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, movement through the Dzhankoi checkpoint has been completely blocked, and traffic on the bridge connecting Henichesk with the Arabat Spit is also blocked.
Earlier, the publication reported that the Russian forces claimed traffic through the Chongar Bridge had been fully restored.
- Iin the occupied Kherson region, movement from Henichesk to the Arabat Spit was temporarily blocked on the morning of June 10, with reports of a strike on one of the bridges. Later, it was stated that traffic on the Henichesk–Arabat Spit bridge would operate in a reversible (one-way alternating) mode.
- On the night of June 7, Ukrainian Special Operations Forces damaged a strategic bridge between Crimea and Kherson region in the Chongar area. A repeated strike on the Chongar Bridge occurred on the night of June 9.
